Balenciaga makes a bold return to the world of Haute Parfumerie, unveiling a new collection of ten exclusive fragrances alongside a dedicated boutique. This launch marks the brand’s reentry into the perfume sector after nearly a decade of silence, driven by Kering Beauté’s ambition to enhance the luxury group’s presence in the niche fragrance market. Central to the collection is a contemporary reimagining of “Le Dix,” Balenciaga’s first perfume created in the 1940s, evoking the brand’s heritage with modern touches of iris and aldehydes.
The packaging design emphasizes durability and timelessness, aiming to transcend typical perfume presentation by turning each bottle into a collectible object of beauty. “To capture Balenciaga’s timeless DNA and signature style, the teams at Kering Beauté worked closely with the House.” According to Raffaella Cornaggia, CEO of Kering Beauté, this has “revived the olfactory soul of the House with a touch of modernity.“
