THE LANCÔME LA VIE EST BELLE STORY

The La Vie Est Belle, Domaine de la Rose packaging from Colourform represents a genuine innovation in the sector.

A stunning compact wrap, this mono-material pulp packaging for Lancôme is unique and exhibits excellent sustainability credentials. It is 100% recyclable with paper.
This innovative COLOURFORM™ packaging follows the distinctive shape of the La Vie Est Belle bottle and leaf shape ribbon.
“We really pushed the depth of the texture on the flower design emboss. It’s a very strong focal point and feature.” Rowan Nowell, Senior Designer
Shifting to sustainable packaging does not jeopardise a truly luxurious experience. Market-leading design and sustainability do not need to be mutually exclusive.
Catherine Albertini, Product Development and Project Manager Lancôme explains, “We worked closely to develop a stunning single material paper packaging solution that is fully recyclable.”
– It is 100% recyclable in the paper waste stream.
– 91% of the water used in the manufacturing process is clean enough to be released back into the river from which it is taken
– The ultra-light case has been crafted from natural wood fibres sourced from sustainably managed European forests.
– The renewable fibre is from responsibly managed forestry, certified to Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) standards.
– The white colour is natural and is free of chemical dye additives.
The very fine emboss detail results in textured rose petals caressing the lower front face. These organic structures, next to the precise die-cut edges, gives a striking form which enhances, rather than detracts from the fragrance inside.
A stunning compact wrap this luxury packaging is bespoke and brings and entirely new dimension to the fragrance sector.
With a patented clasp feature, over-sized to compliment the same ‘smile’ on the front face of the bottle.
Perfect ergonomics, with beautiful design language
that works with the brand. The clasp has a satisfying crisp, snap closure with haptic feedback; an audible signifier of quality.
The product is kept safe, secure and intact.
