YONWOO Co., Ltd., a leading cosmetics package manufacturing company in Korea, announced on the 7th that it has obtained “ISCC PLUS” (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification), a global sustainability certification.
ISCC PLUS certification is an international certification system organized by CONTROLUNION based in Europe.
It is an eco-friendly certification based on the use, tracking, and manageability of recycled plastics in accordance with the “Circular Economic Action Plan” policy.
ISCC Plus certification is a representative eco-friendly certification with about 600 companies from around the world participating as of January 2021, and ESTEE LAUDER (ELC) is representative with Eastman.
It has declared that “2025 Sustainable Packaging Goal Achieved” through ISCC PLUS authentication.
As a result, YONWOO was recognized as participating in the practice of a more transparent circulation system by obtaining ISCC PLUS certification.
An official from YONWOO Co., Ltd. said, “We have recently obtained ISCC PLUS certification due to a flood of inquiries about recycled (green) products mainly from large domestic customers and global customers in the European market.
“We will move forward as an eco-friendly global leader through ESG management based on ISCC PLUS certification,” he added.
