TNT Global Manufacturing manufactured the wood-like boxes* for the successful brand Penhaligon’s.
Water Transfer (Hydrography) is the process core of the design of these boxes. It consists of applying a decorative thin base water-soluble film on a 3D object. The printed film is placed on the surface of the water, and the base begins to dissolve, thanks to an activator. Then the box made of injected plastic is immersed into the water, while the ink wraps it, thanks to the pressure of the water. Once removed from the water, the box is cleaned and dried. The box is then coated with a clear varnish, after a golden-labelled logo has been applied on its top, for a luxury finish. (*Agarbathi, Oud de Nil, Alizarin, As Sawira, Lothair, Halfeti, Paithani)
