class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ot.studio\/work\/cleano2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Office of Ordinary Things<\/a> has created a packaging design for <a href=\"https:\/\/cleano2.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Clean O2<\/a>, a sustainable soap brand that captures and transforms carbon to create soap. The brand was launched in Canada in 2022 by Jaeson Cardiff, an advocate of the circular economy within the industry.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e66f64f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e66f64f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Tell us a bit about the brand \u2013 its heritage, its story, and its markets \u2013 and the brief for this project. How does the design express the brand\u2019s values?\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>The founders \u2014 Jaeson Cardiff, Kathi Fischer and Scott Forgrave \u2014 invented a revolutionary device, CarbinX\u2122, that captures carbon dioxide emissions from building heating systems and turns it into non-toxic pearl ash (potassium carbonate). They figured they weren\u2019t satisfied with simply capturing the carbon- they wanted to upcycle it. This led to development of Clean O2 soap and cleaning products.<\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/easyfairsassets.com\/sites\/61\/2022\/08\/CleanO20166-for-website.jpg\" alt=\"Cosmetics Packaging | Clean O2\" \/><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><b>What inspired the design?<\/b><\/span><\/p><p>The designers were tasked us with creating branding, packaging, and messaging that communicated the distinctive environmental value of their product without overwhelming customers with data and scientific jargon. With the core brand focused on the messaging strategy, the playful, multivalent CO\u2082 bubbles play a supportive role. Their arrangement reflects the shape of a CO\u2082 molecule\u2014a wink and nod to the science behind the product that simultaneously communicates its sudsy cleaning power.<\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/easyfairsassets.com\/sites\/61\/2022\/08\/CleanO20053-design-case-study.jpg\" alt=\"Cosmetics Packaging | Clean O2\" \/><b><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">What is innovative or unusual about the pack?\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p><p>Rather than focusing on the brand, the designers focused on the story. Struggling to communicate the climate change technology behind its cleaning products, CleanO2 approached us for a complete rebranding to more effectively tell its story. While doing pop up and night markets, the designers have received plenty of comments solely on how \u201ccute\u201d or \u201cawesome\u201d our packaging is. The new packaging appeals to the consumers both visually and emotionally by using a combination of great colours, fonts and concise messaging.<\/div><div><img decoding=\"async\"
