Paris Packaging Week today announces the launch of Future Leaders, a new initiative designed to highlight, celebrate and give a voice to the rising stars of packaging in the beauty, personal care, luxury, drinks and aerosol sectors.<\/strong><\/p><p>The Future Leaders programme will bring together a group of packaging professionals under the age of 30 who are making a big impact in the early years of their career, whether they are packaging developers or buyers working at brands, packaging designers working at agencies or are working at packaging suppliers or manufacturers.<\/p><p>\u201c<em>Our mission at Paris Packaging Week is to give our community a vision of the future of their packaging and of the market,<\/em>\u201d said Christelle Anya, Content &amp; Community Director for the event.<\/p><p>\u201c<em>The Future Leaders programme adds a new dimension by celebrating and giving a voice to the best new talent in packaging. In addition, the programme will help ensure that Paris Packaging Week responds to the needs of the new generation who are creating the future of packaging.<\/em>\u201d<\/p><p>The group will help to shape the future direction of the four shows at Paris Packaging Week \u2013 ADF for the aerosol sector, PCD for the beauty sector, PLD for the drinks market and Packaging Premi\u00e8re for luxury products \u2013 as part of a Future Leaders advisory board.<\/p><p>The programme will give a voice to this new generation of packaging influencers by involving them in the conference programme for Paris Packaging Week, and offering the opportunity to contribute to Paris Packaging Week\u2019s ongoing digital content programme.<\/p><p>In addition, the group will have the opportunity to meet senior packaging developers, designers, buyers and suppliers who are already part of the Paris Packaging Week advisory groups and awards juries.<\/p><p><br \/>Participants in the programme will be selected by a panel of experts including G\u00e9rald Martines, founder of design agency In-Signes; Emmanuelle Bonardi, Operations Director at Amore Pacific EMEA and a former Packaging Development &amp; Innovation Director at Shiseido; and Thierry De Baschmakoff, founder at the agency De Baschmakoff.<\/p><p>G\u00e9rald Martines says: \u201c<em>I am excited to see the nominations for this first Future Leaders programme. The packaging industry needs Future Leaders who have the vision and the talents to reinvent the sector responsibly for the 21st century \u2013 and create the products that tomorrow\u2019s consumers expect<\/em>.\u201d<\/p><p>\u201c<em>I am proud to be part of this Future Leaders project.
