France\u2019s oldest glassmaker is aiming to increase its footprint in luxury, which currently accounts for 5% of its business.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d19721e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d19721e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>La Roch\u00e8re has one furnace (soda-lime glass), with a daily capacity of 33 tonnes of molten glass, and five machines: two for tableware, one for luxury goods, glass blocks and tiles. The glassmaker also operates a 500kg furnace for the blown glass workshop, which processes lead-free crystal. Both furnaces are electric.<\/p><p>La Roch\u00e8re&#8217;s previous projects in the luxury sector include a photophore for the C\u00e9line fashion house and a spirits stopper for the Courvoisier cognac brand; the latter was made using existing equipment because it weighed more than 100 grams.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
