Margot brings over 18 years of expertise in combatting illicit trade and counterfeiting. As an early member of the OECD Taskforce on Charting Illicit Trade, she has been at the forefront of global initiatives developed alongside INTERPOL, the World Customs Organization, and other international bodies.
In addition to her work in illicit trade intelligence, Margot has a strong track record in building and scaling startups. Her operational leadership within a MedTech scale-up equipped her with a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, compliance, and quality management. Over the years, she has become a recognized expert in traceability, product data integrity, and sustainable business management.Today, Margot co-leads the ORIGINALLUXURY initiative, bringing together more than 300 luxury stakeholders and over 25 technology partners to advance transparency and traceability across the luxury ecosystem. She also serves as the Designated Operator of the DMCC Luxury Innovation Centre, a pioneering hub in Dubai dedicated to accelerating innovation in luxury, empowering brands and technology providers to collaborate, showcase solutions, and shape the future of responsible luxury.
Margot is also an Advisor to Women in Sustainable Luxury (WiSL), supporting the community in driving high-impact projects, fostering responsible practices, and empowering women shaping the future of the luxury industry.
