Pat McGrath launches Legendary Glow Setting Spray
Following the iconic ‘porcelain skin’ look at last year’s Maison Margiela couture show, the makeup legend has revealed a new setting spray that promises to deliver the same effect.
“Back in the day, my mother would always do heavy makeup and she’d say ‘then you go take a bath to create a lived in look“, reveals Pat McGrath. This advice inspired her new Glass 001 setting spray, born of a trick she’s been using since the 90s: a homemade potion that already enhanced the cult looks of the time, far from the “oily and horrific” formulas on the market.
This formula reinforces the alliance between make-up and skincare. Infused with aloe vera, cucumber and black tulip extract, the setting spray uses lacquering agents to set colour and make the glass skin finish of its couture mask accessible for daily use.
