Press release | Call for innovation. Paris Packaging Week Innovation Awards open
Top brands, fresh ideas, and the new Luxury Awards set the stage for 2026’s most celebrated designs
Paris, July 10, 2025 – The Innovation Awards are officially open for entries – inviting the most creative, disruptive, and sustainable packaging solutions from across the globe to take centre stage in the heart of Paris.
Paris Packaging Week is the leading event for the global packaging industry and the definitive platform for innovation and excellence. Its Innovation Awards are among the most prestigious in the sector, offering winners valuable visibility and industry recognition. As the key meeting point for packaging professionals, it’s an essential place to be.
“The Innovation Awards is a great opportunity to showcase the talent and creativity of our packaging team” says Souleyman Lutz, Head of Packaging Development at Remy Cointreau. “More than just recognition, it builds pride, new connections, and keeps us moving forward”.
Luxury category joins line-up
The renowned ADF, PCD and PLD Innovation Awards have long celebrated packaging excellence across aerosols, beauty, and premium drinks. And for 2026, Paris Packaging Week is proud to unveil the Premium & Luxury Awards, a brand-new initiative created to recognise exceptional packaging achievements in jewellery and watches, fashion and accessories, fine food and much more.
“For me, the Innovation Awards is an opportunity to discover and highlight innovative solutions that address challenges” says Alex David, Jewellery Quality Manager at Louis Vuitton – a new member joining the Packaging Première jury.
An exceptional jury
To ensure the highest level of expertise and insight, Paris Packaging Week have enlisted an exceptional jury of packaging leaders and creative visionaries from some of the world’s most prestigious brands — including Bulgari, LVMH, Unilever, Rémy Cointreau, Chanel, Pernod Ricard and many more. This outstanding panel will evaluate entries based on creativity, innovation, sustainability, and the ability to elevate the consumer experience.
Celebrating excellence at an all new Innovation Awards opening night party
In 2026, a brand-new Innovation Awards party will kick off Paris Packaging Week the evening before the exhibition, on 4 February 2026.
This event will be the perfect opportunity to meet key influencers from the market’s leading brands, connect with emerging names, and celebrate the most outstanding achievements in our industry.
“We’ve been waiting for this moment to extend the show and Innovation Awards by creating an evening dedicated to celebrating our community’s achievements,” says Christelle Anya, Content and Community Director at Paris Packaging Week. “This new event will encourage cross-sector innovation and inspire fresh ideas. When it comes to entries, we want bold stories – breakthroughs and products that solve real problems or elevate experiences. And we’re especially excited to complete the offering with the introduction of the new Packaging Première Innovation Awards categories.”
