Honour and Justice: Berry Bros. & Rudd introduces The Duel Scotch whisky duo

The last duel in London inspired Berry Bros. & Rudd’s latest release, a Scotch whisky duo housed in hand-blown crystal decanters that nestle in a jesmonite case. The limited-edition pair retail at £20,000.

Family-owned wine and spirits merchant Berry Bros. & Rudd—founded in 1698—has launched a pair of single malt Scotch whiskies. They represent the two sides of the fabled last duel in London, said to have occured at its St James’ Street location in Pickering Place.

Justice is a 54-year-old Speyside single malt, sourced from a classified distillery. Honour is a 1991 Laphroaig, aged for 34 years in a single Hogshead. “Our position as an independent bottler allows us the rare opportunity to bring together two whiskies which would never normally collide,” Felix Dear, Spirits Curator at Berry Bros. & Rudd said in a statement.
