Johnnie Walker x Olivier Rousteing’s second luxury whisky collab launches
The Couture Blend is a limited-edition Scotch whisky housed in a crystal decanter. Just 1,500 pieces are available, priced at $2,500.
The latest launch to come out of luxury platform Johnnie Walker Vault and the second collaboration between the Diageo-owned whisky purveyor and Balmain Creative Director Olivier Rousteing is The Couture Blend.
Fusing heritage and avant-garde design, the Scotch whisky comes in a sculptural crystal decanter with prominent shoulders. It is topped with an oversize stopper. A personalizable collar engraved with the collector’s initials is available at select retailers.
“I wanted to create something that captures the tension between minimalism and maximalism, sparking conversation and curiosity, anchored in the present yet futuristic and timeless. I loved the paradox of pure crystal and decadent gold, finishing the decanter with the oversized stopper,” Rousteing said in a statement. With only 1,500 individually numbered crystal decanters produced, the recommended retail price for The Couture Blend is $2,500, available at selected luxury retailers.
