Celebrating the Year of the Horse: how Don Julio celebrates Lunar New Year 2026
To mark the Lunar New Year, Tequila Don Julio is celebrating the Year of the Horse with an exclusive edition combining Mexican heritage and Asian symbolism.
It celebrates 1942, the year in which founder Don Julio González began his adventure, also marked by the Year of the Horse, with a limited edition bottle combining traditional Mexican Ikat Rebozo motifs and Asian zodiac symbolism.
It brings together personalities born under the sign of the Horse, including Ross Butler and Max Siegelman, and collaborates with Siegelman Stable and renowned bartenders in Asia to create an exclusive capsule and cocktails inspired by the Lunar New Year.
