Innovation Awards spotlight | Les récoltes Majeures 2025

In December 2025, our prestigious jury — featuring leading names including Chanel, Dior, PUIG, Interparfums, and many more — came together to evaluate the entries for the PCD Innovation Awards. The winners were then unveiled, celebrated, and honoured at the inaugural Innovation Awards Gala, held on the eve of Paris Packaging Week 2026.

Please describe the brief for the pack. What were the objectives for the innovation project? What were the requirements and constraints?

As part of this project, the Marketing Department defined the following requirements:

  • Recreate an iconic Dior House amphora, crafted from glass and metal.

  • The project aimed to bring renewed momentum to the annual celebration of the lily of the valley, rose, and jasmine harvests by presenting original bouquet interpretations on the bottles. These creations are developed using a specific material, technique, and artisanal expertise, with the 2025 edition themed around embroidery.
We were therefore required to design a system enabling the reuse of the existing cap while allowing a bouquet to be attached, whether made from flexible or rigid materials.

  • The presentation case needed to feature a unified design, suitable for all bottles and bouquets in the 2025 edition, while remaining relevant for future editions.

  • 200 bouquets for each flower.

How did the pack fulfil the brief?

For the amphora, the glass component was produced semi-automatically in France by the artisans of Walterperger glassworks, in two separate parts (the base and the body). These two elements were then assembled in France at the PSP workshops.

The development and production phases were entrusted to the Vermont workshops in Paris. Each bouquet is handcrafted by experienced embroiderers, and the creation of a single bouquet requires several hours of work. The cap features a standard threaded screw fitting, while the flowers are fitted with a screw component which, once assembled, enables the two parts to be joined together.

The ingenuity of this system ensures a standardized assembly method not only for this edition, but also for future editions.

Why do you believe this pack deserves to win an Innovation Award?

This project stands out for its successful synergy between industrial ingenuity and the enhancement of traditional craftsmanship, expressed through highly complex creations. Investment in artisanal métiers d’art helps ensure the long-term sustainability and visibility of these traditions while supporting employment across specialized craft sectors.
