French craftsmanship in the spotlight with Longueteau’s €130,000 rum

Rum brand Longueteau has unveiled a €130,000 one-of-a-kind creation as it celebrates 130 years of trading. The bottle in pâte de verre features a gold and diamond jewel adornment made by Odace.

French jewelry house Odace and glass sculptor Juliette Leperlier were selected by French rum purveyor Longueteau to create “the most expensive bottle of agricultural rum ever made” in honor of the brand’s 130th birthday.

“Featuring the work of several French artisans, this is truly a 100% French rum—from the planting and growing of the sugarcane to the bottle,” Longueteau Director François Longueteau affirmed during the unveiling of the €130,000 flacon in Paris earlier this month.”
