Co-partnership’s soda bottle-inspired approach to whisky packaging

A whisky in a bottle that evokes a soft drink is the idea behind the 2025 Make a Mark project from Australian independent drinks design agency Co-partnership.

Can prestige exist without excessive ornamentation? This is the question that drove Co-partnership’s concept for the 2025 edition of design project Make a Mark. Based on the idea of a non-distillery producer with a certain creative freedom, Priceless Pursuit No.1 is a Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey.

The bespoke, 750ml bottle (Estal) is in the shape of a PET soda bottle, “a contradiction of form and expectation,” the design agency explains in the project documentation. “With a simple change from plastic to glass, we shift the perception from everyday generic to an object of beauty, luxury, and desire.”
