After much reflection on both worlds, the idea emerged to create a chess set where all elements would be crafted from recycled LDPE plastic films, utilizing different techniques and finishes… A flexible game board paired with solid pieces turned on a lathe and stored in a custom case. The design includes an assembly of rigid panels with compartments—all assembled without glue.
