The digital printer D240.2
New digital printing machine a major attraction at fairs and congresses! The latest generation is based on the original D240, introduced in 2014 as the first fully digital printing machine for metal and plastic packaging. The newest member of the D240 family comes packed with even higher precision decoration of tubes, aerosol cans, bottles, cartridges and other cylindrical containers made from aluminum, steel or plastic. Compared to it’s predecessor, the new machine comes with an further increased speed. The new inks provide an even higher intensity – allowing lower ink consuption. An added benefit is the smaller footprint of the machine, which allows very easy integration in existing production lines.

N40.4 XL – the mega former
The brand new necking machine type N40.4 XL marks another milestone development by Germany based Hinterkopf GmbH. Necking machines by Hinterkopf are best known for speed, precision and ease of operation. They integrate seamlessly with the production line, and give cans their finishing touch – the shape. A revolutionary feature of the new necking machine is its ability to process cans with diameter up to 88mm and 1mm wall thickness. The powerful new machine is ideally suited for specialized products such as fire extinguishers, whipped cream cans and for processing of high strength alloys. With these types of cans the powerful new machine applies its impressive forming force of up to 98kN.

N50.3 – Ready for DWI
The necking machine N50.3 from HINTERKOPF with its 50 working stations opens up entirely new possibilities for the shaping of bottles and cans made of aluminum. In addition to very complex product forms also thin-walled products, e.g. made by the DWI-process, can be shaped in only one necking machine.

Impact Extrusion Press
Presses are an integral part of production lines for cylindrical hollow containers. They are the first machines in an extensive and complex manufacturing process. They set the pace and define the geometric quality of the manufactured cylinders. Higher grade aluminum alloys as well as thin wall technology in aluminum cans place even greater emphasis on presses. The comprehensive line of impact-extrusion presses acquired by Hinterkopf represent the latest generation technology, with press forces ranging from 1,500 kN up to 6,300 kN. Thanks to an optimized knee lever design, the forming process is particularly homogenous.

H210 Basic Machine - Elevate your production to the next level
The brand-new transfer machine H210 combines the best features of its tried and tested sisters H200 and H240. Several hundred of these two classic machine lines are operation around the globe. The latest generation H210 is ready for almost anything: decoration of cans, tubes, bottles and other cylindrical hollow container, regardless if made from aluminum or plastic, in the widest range of shapes and sizes. At a maximum speed up to 210 cycles per minute you can rely on proven technology. A diagonal infeed conveyor supplies containers to the machine with low energy consumption and minimum wear. The transfer system comes with a variable stroke for loading and unloading of containers and can be adjusted for optimum efficiency based on product dimensions. Access to machine components is optimized to ensure efficient exchange of tooling. Timing between conveyor and vacuum wheels are visible to the operator, can easily be reached for makereadies, and can be adjusted on the fly with the machine running. This makes for extremely efficient changeovers to help react quickly on changing market conditions with small lot sizes and marketing campaigns with short lead times. Your advantages: - Maximum machine efficiency - Settings are stored and can be re-called for changeovers - Optimum production changes with dual-chain system - Highest flexibility and quick make-readies - Precision product transfer at top speeds - Fine tuning of setting on the running machine - Low tooling cost - Compatible with existing H200 mandrels

D480.2 - The best of two worlds
With the brand new D480.2, Hinterkopf presents already it’s fourth generation of digital printing systems. The innovative concepts is based on over 10 years of proven technology, and offers customers a vastly expanded range of possibilities in decoration of packaging – translucent colors, gloss or barrier coatings to name only a few. The design teams at Hinterkopf have incorporated classic analog stations to the otherwise fully digital printing system. As Alexander Hinterkopf, managing director at Hinterkopf explains: „Not all finishing processes can be realized through digital printing. That is the reason why we offer customers options such as adding engraved anilox rollers to elevate advanced high-end packaging with tactile effects.” In order to ensure reliable drying of such special coatings, a specific additional station can be integrated to the D480.2 digital printer. Another new feature of the new system are new translucent inks, for example to add very lightly pigmented coatings. The decoration with high-gloss coatings is also possible. A total of 24 stations can be integrated into the D480.2 machine. The exact configuration of options will be specifically designed to customer requirements.
