Products & services
Energy saving
Careful attention is paid to the development and design of screwed nozzles. Moreover, the geometries and masses are optimally sized and proportioned in order to minimize energy dissipation and provide greater thermal insulation. These characteristics allow our systems to work on average, at 15 - 20% of the heaters’ power.
Fast colour change
Our hot runner systems stand out for several very clear strengths that are reflected in numerous operational process benefits. One of the main ones is that colour changes can be carried out in half of the time compared to the traditional solutions available on the market. This made possible by technology developed and patented by iHR, such as the Topless Tip.
Thermal uniformity of the material
The shape of our channels, the geometry of our components, the position and the type of our heaters are aimed at reducing the stress of the material and at maintaining its thermal uniformity from the entrance to the hot runner until the point when it reaches the cavity.
Low operating pressures
We have the optimized performance of our systems by managing to convey plastic material inside of mould cavity reducing pressure drops to a minimum towards the gate. The front gate area uses an innovative and patented system that, thanks to a low-pressure drop, keeps material stress to a minimum.
Simplified installation and maintenance
We pay particular attention to productivity and efficiency. Each of our hot runner injection systems is designed and built as a single piece that, as far as the components subject to wear are concerned, can be very easily maintained. And it is this simplicity that keeps the global performance of the system constant over time.
Versatility and interchangeability of components
Our hot runners are characterised by a high level of technological flexibility, which means that they can easily be adapted to operational requirements. The system can be rapidly upgraded to match any change in requirement. For example, a customer might start off using the system in an open flow version, and subsequently switch to the more performing valve gate version. Obviously, the system needs to be correctly prepared and set up beforehand, but the time frame and costs of the work are advantageous for the customer. In short, our systems ensure maximum versatility and interchangeability of components to perfectly reflect the growing needs of the customer.
Injection systems
iHR Solution screwed hot runner injection systems can be used for a wide range of applications, from standard systems to special systems, designed to meet every customer need. iHR technology includes a wide range of tips, such as the patented Topless T version, which guarantees fast colour changes, excellent mechanical performance of the moulded polymer and low operating pressures. Among the other advantages of the iHR Solution systems, which enable modern and reactive production management, there is the reduction of energy consumption, the simplicity of installation, the reduced dimensions of the shutoff units and the savings in maintenance costs.
The HOT-HALF systems completely wired and ready for installation
For the multiple needs that emerge more and more urgently from the world of plastic moulding, iHR Solution proposes Hot-Half Systems as an advanced interface with the mould, with the possibility of integration in a specific design. iHR Solution Hot-Half Systems are fully wired, assembled and tested, maximizing the performance of the systems. In this way, assembly times on the mould and subsequent maintenance are reduced. Based on the customer's needs, iHR Solution designs the best Hot-Half solution adaptable to any type of mould base, avoiding any possible installation error.
Rheological Analysis
The technology to control, improve and manage the moulding process and the moulded parts. The initial analysis allows to verify functionality of the injection system itself, in a virtual way, to identify the best possible configuration, reducing errors and loss of time. It also allows the customer to optimize the design of the mould and to anticipate possible problems during the moulding phase. The injection simulation, combined with the specific skills developed by our team, always in close contact with the customer/partner, is increasingly bringing the virtual world closer, like that of FEM analysis, to reality. The simulation of alternative technical solutions allows the reduction of start-up costs of a project in its actual implementation.
Ultra-Slim nozzle for cosmetics industry
Following the request for increasingly smaller nozzles from our customers in the cosmetics industry, iHR Solution has developed the Ultra-Slim nozzle. Thanks to this new product, we have achieved the following goals: - high aesthetic quality - reduced installation dimensions - same moulded weight per nozzle as standard versions

New valve gate single nozzle
In the world of plastic injection moulding, innovation is not measured in size, but in millimetres of freedom gained within the mould.
