Imprimerie du Marais
About us
A print workshop founded in Paris in 1971 by Charles Przedborski, the Imprimerie du Marais works on bespoke print projects from prototyping to delivery, including design consultation and material choices. Its teams are based in Paris, London, New York and Geneva.
This heritage of expertise is now carried by the Arlane investment fund and by a general management that supports our transformation and our sustainability. This stability allows us to invest in our equipment, our teams and our practices, while keeping the workshop standards that define our identity.
We work alongside many designers, art directors and agencies, whose vision remains at the heart of every project. Our role is to serve it: advice on materials and processes, prototypes, technical development, production. When a client wishes, we can also develop the design of a printed object and see it through to production, in a single process. Each client chooses the level of involvement that suits their project.
We receive orders from Europe, the USA, the Middle East and the Asia Pacific region, for brands, agencies and institutions in the creative and art sectors, in Event Collateral, Retail Collateral, CRM Collateral, Gifting, Stationery, Packaging, Edition and Limited Editions.
A well conceived printed object gives our clients something to hand over to their own clients: a material, a content, a moment. It travels from hand to hand, it is kept, it is shown. This is how a relationship goes on beyond the order, and how those who receive it sometimes become the voice of a brand or a product.
Why visit our stand at PCD
We bring our archives and a selection of our most recent work. Among professionals, the pieces speak better than any presentation: pick them up, look closely at how they are made, and ask your questions about papers, processes and finishes. We will gladly share how we approach the delicate points of a project, from prototype to production run, whether the design comes from your teams or you wish to develop it with us.
Whether you come with a brief, a technical difficulty or simply the wish to compare approaches, we will take the time to talk it through with you.
