Olivier Nineuil, TYPOFACTO

Founding Partner

Founder of Typofacto, Olivier Nineuil is a typeface designer, author, editor and workshop animator
on typographic creation.
He designs exclusive fonts to order, for artists, publishers and companies. He has created the Air
France, Club Med, Michelin typefaces, those of the French National Olympic Committee, the
French Tennis Federation, the French Handball team and in the field of publishing, the Jean Giono
typeface for Hatier or the Grévisse font for Magnard.
Alongside these creations, Olivier Nineuil teaches type design and what he calls “typographic
maieutics” in various art schools. Committed to the promotion of typographic heritage and the
transmission of know-how, Olivier Nineuil leads within Typofacto, a publishing activity, dedicated
to the field of writing (monographs, essays, fiction, children’s books).
It is in this desire for transmission that he intervenes within Format A5, a group of graphic arts
professionals, who share their expertise and their passion for print during conferences and
training sessions.
