Neural Hinge launches Cloud Max with Arata MitoActive™

A proprietary scalp-treatment application system integrating precise dosing, targeted delivery, massage and stimulation, now commercialised with Arata MitoActive™ and protected through functional patent filings and registered designs.

Neural Hinge has developed Cloud Max, an integrated scalp-treatment application system created for Arata MitoActive™ Mitochondrial Hair Growth Serum, launched commercially in India in July 2026.

Developed around the way consumers actually perform a scalp-treatment routine, Cloud Max goes beyond conventional serum dispensing. The system integrates a controlled 0.5 ml dose, targeted delivery through the hair to the scalp, serum distribution, massage and stimulation within one intuitive packaging architecture.

A soft-touch, gua sha-inspired bulbous paddle provides direct scalp contact for application and massage. The characteristic protruding hemispherical actuator creates an accessible and controlled press gesture, while the rigid geometry beneath forms a natural grip zone for the supporting fingers. A second gentle scalp massager is integrated into the cap, with its overcap doubling as a docking station for the main pack while the massager is in use.

Cloud Max was conceived and developed by Neural Hinge, Global Innovation Capability Centre (GICC) in collaboration with Arata, a science-led haircare brand backed by Unilever Ventures.

The architecture is protected through two functional patent applications and two registered designs, demonstrating Neural Hinge’s approach to taking proprietary consumer-led innovation from concept through engineering, IP and commercialization.
