In the heart of the village of Cuisles, Cédric Moussé, a visionary winemaker committed to responsible cultivation, came up with the idea for the Light 26 bottle. This innovative project, supported by the technical expertise of Saverglass, illustrates the Champagne industry's ability to combine tradition and innovation to meet today's environmental performance challenges.

The challenge was ambitious: to design a 75cl bottle capable of matching the oenological qualities of a magnum, while being lighter and more environmentally friendly. With a record weight of 725 g (compared to 835 to 900 g for traditional formats), the Light 26 offers optimized logistical performance and material impact, while ensuring the necessary resistance for champagne aging.

To turn this idea into reality, Saverglass contributed its glassmaking expertise and technical support at every stage of the project, from design to production, to ensure a perfect balance between lightness, strength, and aesthetic quality.
