Carole Charmeau

Carole Charmeau has a PhD in Toxicology and over 20 years’ experience in assessing the safety of chemical substances in the broadest sense (REACH substances, cosmetics, pesticides, etc.). She has now been Managing Director of KREATiS for 5 years, where she is involved in developing in silico models to predict the hazards of substances and assess the risks to human health following exposure. At the same time, she provides training in regulatory toxicology and in silico toxicology to raise awareness of in silico methods among industry and toxicology Masters students. Since 2021, she has been a member of the CosmeBooste group, where she is helping to set up the SafePAC platform for assessing the safety for human health of cosmetic packaging made from recycled plastic.
