Claire Trescartes represents the third generation at the helm of SEGEDE Industrie, a group specialized in metal packaging made from zamak, aluminum, and brass.
A graduate of HEC and École Polytechnique, she initially founded an impact-driven company before naturally bringing these sustainability ambitions into SEGEDE. As Director of CSR, she notably led an in-depth mapping of recycling flows from household waste and coordinated the first life cycle assessments (LCAs) of zamak in collaboration with Ecoinvent and the International Zinc Association.
Today, she embodies a distinctly new voice within the industrial landscape, advocating for competitive, low-carbon European production of metal packaging solutions for the luxury perfumery and cosmetics sector—grounded in material traceability and the use of fully post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials
