Jérôme Jacqueline Bessière, CSR Director, Laboratoire SVR
Jérôme has almost 25 years’ experience in the cosmetics sector. Trained as an engineer in Industrial Biology, and with a specialisation in cosmetics from the Faculty of Pharmacy, he began his career in the United States and Great Britain as a formulator and then evaluator in application laboratories, for raw materials suppliers Solvay, Croda and for Charles River Laboratories. He joined the R&D department of Chanel Parfums Beauté in 2007 as Head of Efficiency Assessment, before gradually shifting towards CSR activities from 2014. In this role, he reorganised governance and contributed to the division’s climate, biodiversity and circularity strategies, while also contributing to reporting, communication and training activities on sustainable development issues. Building on this experience, in 2023 he will join KRESK (which brings together the SVR, Lazartigue, Couvent and Fillmed brands) as Group CSR Strategy Director.
