Margarita Sidorova brings a cross-sector perspective that bridges marketing, innovation, and
material science. As the founder of the Canadian Cosmetic Cluster, she has built an international
network connecting the beauty, packaging, and sustainability industries through trade missions,
symposia, and innovation programs. Her work centers on translating sustainability concepts into
commercially viable strategies—linking biotech startups, packaging suppliers, and global brands
in practical collaboration.
As co-founder of MediSea Biotech, based in France, Margarita is actively involved in the
development of regenerative aquaculture systems and the transformation of seaweed into highvalue
bioproducts, including packaging materials and cosmetic actives. This dual role places her
at the intersection of marketing ambitions and industrial realities, giving her a unique
understanding of how new materials can—and cannot yet—fit into established manufacturing
and recycling systems.
