Rica Hakim is a product development chemist at PPG, where she designs coatings for packaging that meet new regulatory and environmental requirements. She has played a key technical role in the development and commercialisation of two interior coatings containing no intentionally added bisphenol A, including a water-based solution designed to replace traditional solvent-based formulations. Her ambition is to lead international projects and accelerate the adoption of more sustainable coating technologies, without compromising on performance.
