Thi Thanh Truc Phung

Thi Thanh Truc Phung stands out for her background and commitment to the packaging sector. With a doctorate in food chemistry-physics and microbiology, she has in-depth scientific expertise in the characterisation of bio-based materials and the design of innovative food protection systems. As project leader of the NEXTFOODPACK national programme (€8 million, 21 partners including 11 university laboratories and 5 industrial companies), she steers and leads a multidisciplinary collaboration around a shared vision: to create the next generation of flexible, high-performance, circular packaging. It excels in bridging the gap between academic research and industrial needs, and in mobilising diverse teams around ambitious projects.
