A graduate of the École Émile Cohl in Lyon, she spent four years there, from 1997 to 2001, completing a program focused on various artistic practices applied to the fields of illustration and graphic design.
Fresh out of school, she co-authored with Gilles Bernard a monograph dedicated to the surrealist painter Alfred Courmes, published by Le Cherche Midi in 2004. The book was prefaced by philosopher Michel Onfray.
Faithful to the entrepreneurial spirit that has always driven her family, Vitalie Taittinger founded a small company in 2002 and developed numerous projects in the world of wine and gastronomy.
In 2007, admiring her father Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger’s successful reconquest of the Taittinger Champagne House, Vitalie expressed her desire to join the family business. She began her journey in the Champagne world as a Marketing Consultant, quickly becoming the face of the brand, representing its image and values around the world.
Two years later, she took on the role of Artistic Director of the family house, fully integrating into the company.
President of the FRAC since 2017, she also served as President of the Platform association from 2018 to 2022.
After heading the Marketing and Communication Department, Vitalie became President of Champagne Taittinger in January 2020. She now balances an intense professional life with her blended family of four children.
In 2021, Vitalie was named Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres. In 2023, she co-founded, together with her father Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger, the Philanthropic Arsnova endowment fund, which aims to promote access to music, culinary arts, the arts, and cultural heritage.
