Finn Thomson debuts with 50 Year Old Glenlivet

The Glenlivet 50 Year Old whisky is the first launch for new brand Finn Thomson, a revived whisky business whose offer comes from the eponymous owner’s 300 year-old family cask collection, reports Luxe Packaging Insight.

Scottish entrepreneur Finn Thomson has resurrected his family whisky business that dates back three centuries. The Thomson family’s private cask collection is now being offered to the public through three inaugural ranges – Crown, Rare and Core.

The pinnacle of the portfolio is the Glenlivet 50 Year Old from the Crown collection. The bespoke nonagon-shaped bottle was a collaborative effort between Scottish design agency Form Digital, Finn Thomson and the brand’s Creative Director Reeve Rixon. The spirit comes in a bespoke bottle with nine facets in a nod to the nine generations of the Thomson family.
