WD-40 sales increased by 15% compared to previous year

WD-40, the renowned lubricant brand, has seen an increase of 15% in sales in Q3 reports World Aerosols. 

Despite the currency exchange rates changing, WD-40 have had a strong Q3 in terms of sales. The net income for the third quarter were $141.7 million which was an 15% increase that of the previous year. 

As a global company with more than half of our revenue generated in currencies other than the US dollar, we are exposed to the effects of changing foreign currency exchange rates.

“The impacts of changing foreign currency exchange rates have had a significant negative impact on our reported results in both the third quarter and year to date” stated Steve Brass, WD-40 Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer.
