Alain Quillet has been acting in top management positions for the last 30 years in four French fashion companies ( Haute Couture, Ready-to-wear and accessories ). 1984 graduate from EDC, he completed with a DECS (chartered accountant cursus) prior to join Thomson group as controller. He joined Christian Dior in 1990 and during 17 years moved from finance positions to International Retail development and Retail Operations Director. Then, he held position of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive officer in Nina Ricci Mode prior to run transition missions at Sonia Rykiel, Paule Ka and Lanvin for restructuring projects. Alain has been appointed in 2019 President of Comité Montaigne, federating and representing the 80 luxury brands installed Avenue Montaigne and rue François 1er in Paris. Through his own consulting company, ABAQAB, he advices and supports projects (development, M&A, transformation) with Fashion and Luxury brands top management, individual investors, funds, private equity companies and foreign distributors. More recently, Alain entered as Managing Partner in the start-up UPTIFY, providing Retail Management services and Distribution expansion solutions to Fashion and Accessories brands.
