Lighter packaging for greater impact
At MPO, innovation goes hand in hand with responsibility. Our latest advance in eco-design perfectly illustrates this ambition: we have developed a lighter clamshell box, made from fluted cardboard with optimised technical performance.
Thanks to a carefully selected outer layer, the packaging retains its refined, high-quality appearance, while avoiding the creases that are usually visible on this type of structure. The result is visually flawless packaging that meets luxury standards, but is also much more environmentally responsible.
A 47% reduction in weight: a strong gesture for the planet
By going from 532 g for an identical format in compact cardboard to only 280 g, this new box is 40% lighter, without compromising on rigidity or customer experience. This technical feat translates directly into a significant reduction in carbon footprint on several levels:
• Less raw material used, therefore less impact from the production phase onwards;
• Fewer CO₂ emissions linked to sourcing
• Fewer emissions during transport, thanks to a significant reduction in the overall weight of the pallets shipped.
