Monotube

Monotube: 100% PE mono-material cosmetic tube designed for easier recycling and future PPWR requirements.

At Qtubes, we are introducing our new MONOTUBE solution, designed to support recyclability without compromising quality, performance, or aesthetics.

Our latest development is based on a fully homogeneous PE structure:
✔ MDO PE substrate
✔ PE tube
✔ PE cap

This means the entire packaging is made of 100% polyethylene (PE), making recycling easier and more efficient in line with upcoming European requirements.

What changed?

We modified the outer layer of the tube by introducing an ultra-thin 20-micron flexographic PE film, which accounts for only 3.8–4.2% of the total tube wall thickness (depending on the diameter: Ø50 / Ø40 / Ø35).
