In order to support brands in their growing desire to combine premiumization and sustainability, we have developed, in partnership with the neo-Aquitaine start-up UGIEL, new techniques for formulating enamels and inks with precious pigments for glass decoration. Ugiel technology is carried out under green chemistry conditions, and makes it possible to color a surface by depositing a semi-continuous submicron layer of precious metals on it, allowing optimized use of raw materials. It authorizes the reuse / recycling of gold-based by-products in order to use it as a raw material. Our technologies offer new perspectives to brands who want to decorate with precious metals in a responsible way.
