Sidel launches new PET aerosol container design

PressureSAFETM is an environmentally friendly aerosol container designed by Sidel to give home care and personal care brands the opportunity to offer more eco-friendly dispensing spray packaging.

The new PET product packaging solution is approved for the traditional PET recycling stream. The PressureSAFE pressurised container will allow home and personal care companies to offer a competitive alternative to traditional metal aerosols for products like deodorants and perfumes.

According to Sidel’s packaging and tooling innovation manager Mikael Derrien, “The adoption of PressureSAFE aerosol containers enables companies to demonstrate their carbon-saving credentials, reflecting their own environmental commitment, while responding to the sustainability demands of their customers”.
