Press release | Paris Packaging Week Innovation Awards 2027: new jury co-chairs champion bold ideas, fresh perspectives and the next generation
New leadership for the PCD & PLD Innovation Awards.
Paris, October 8, 2026 — Paris Packaging Week has announced new co-chairs for two of its Innovation Awards juries in 2027, as it looks to broaden the competitions’ reach and encourage more businesses to put their innovations forward.
At the PCD Innovation Awards, which have celebrated advances in fragrance and beauty packaging for more than 20 years, Pascale Marciniak-Davoult, Director of Packaging Research & Innovation at CHANEL Parfums Beauté, will serve alongside Hervé Bouix, a packaging expert who has been involved with PCD and its awards since their inception.
The PLD Innovation Awards, dedicated to wine, spirits and premium drinks, will be co-chaired by Anne Monego, founder and Creative Matchmaker at Lavoisine, and Julien Romdane, Head of Packaging Development at Havana Club, Pernod Ricard Group.
The appointments reflect a wider ambition for the Innovation Awards: to build their international profile, welcome entries from companies of every size and standing, and bring new voices into the packaging community.
The message is simple: innovation can come from anywhere, and anyone. The first step is having the confidence to share it.
PCD: more than 20 years of history, and a new chapter
A member of the PCD Innovation Awards jury for more than two decades, Pascale Marciniak-Davoult now becomes its co-chair alongside Hervé Bouix.
With more than 30 years’ experience at CHANEL Parfums Beauté, she has seen the awards evolve from their early years. Each year, the PCD Innovation Awards bring together 25 professionals from fragrance and beauty houses to recognise advances in perfume, skincare, make-up, haircare and personal care packaging.
“I’ve had the privilege of being involved with the PCD Innovation Awards from the beginning and watching them grow alongside the industry,” says Hervé Bouix. “Over more than 20 years, technologies, materials and expectations have changed profoundly. But one conviction has remained: an innovation deserves to be judged on what it actually contributes, regardless of the size or reputation of the company behind it. That rigour has earned the awards their credibility. I’m delighted to begin a new chapter with Pascale, bringing the same standards and a determination to discover even more of the innovations and talents that will define the future of packaging.”
“I’m honoured to be appointed co-chair of the PCD Awards jury alongside Hervé Bouix and to play a full part in the awards’ development and growing reach,” says Pascale Marciniak-Davoult. “This is a unique opportunity to pursue an ambition close to my heart: bringing attention to the innovations that will define tomorrow’s packaging. I look forward to discovering projects that challenge convention, reimagine the packaging experience and bring real value to the beauty sector. I’m eager to discuss these bold ideas with my fellow jurors and celebrate them at the PCD awards ceremony.”
PLD: a handover that brings fresh perspectives
The PLD Innovation Awards are also entering a new chapter. Existing jury members Anne Monego and Julien Romdane become co-chairs, succeeding Christophe Mantoz and Jean-Dominique Andreu. Both outgoing chairs will remain involved as honorary presidents and ambassadors for the awards.
The handover brings fresh perspectives while retaining the qualities at the heart of the PLD Innovation Awards: an expert industry jury, a range of viewpoints and a rigorous assessment of every entry.
The Packaging Première Premium & Luxury Innovation Awards jury also welcomes Margot Stuart, co-founder of OriginalLuxury, and Damien Poelhekke, CEO of La Redoute Europe & Global. They join a panel co-chaired by Thibaut Jambou of Kering Beauté and Olivier Gaugey of Bvlgari.
The ADF Innovation Awards, which recognise innovation in aerosols and dispensing systems, will continue to be chaired by Alain D’Haese of the European Aerosol Federation.
“An innovation must be creative, technically robust and offer a practical response to the challenges facing its market,” says Christelle Anya, Content and Community Director at Paris Packaging Week. “The diversity of our juries is essential to assessing every project from all angles.”
Three new categories broaden the luxury awards
The Packaging Première Premium & Luxury Innovation Awards are expanding into three new fields: Stationery & Writing, covering fine writing instruments and stationery; Luxury Travel & Hospitality, for premium travel experiences; and Home Fragrance & Luxury Living, spanning home fragrance and luxury living.
The additions reflect packaging’s growing role in luxury, where it has become an integral part of the brand experience beyond the product itself.
In 2026, the competition recognised innovations created for brands including Prada, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Grey Goose, Johnnie Walker and Chaumet.
Entries close on 31 October
Brands, manufacturers, agencies and suppliers have until 31 October 2026 to submit their projects. Finalists will be announced in December, with the winners revealed on 2 February 2027 at the Paris Packaging Week opening gala.
The winning innovations will be showcased at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles on 3 and 4 February 2027.
