L’Oréal and Meta launch metaverse startup accelerator
Beauty giant L’Oréal has recently announced the launch of a start-up scheme with social media group Meta, formerly Facebook. This scheme will focus on the development of a comprehensive metaverse ecosystem and will support creative startups in fields such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and avatar creation.
L’Oréal’s Chief Digital and Marketing Officer, Asmita Dubey told the publication, “It brings a lot of young talents together. They’re the future. Imagine the massive creative energy that it generates. The benefit for us is that we can use that creativity for our DMI and brands. So, of course, we will leverage that.”
