Delta Neo is a company who has mastered a wide range of technical specialities in a multitude of industries for example, metal wire and metal strip working, micro-drilling, micromachining and so much more.

Tell us a bit about your company- its heritage, its story and its markets

Delta Neo, a French family business, came to be in 1988, and since then has continuously created vast original and alternative industrial know-how in a spirit of challenge and innovation, in order to respond as closely as possible to the requirements of its most demanding customers.

This is how for more than 20 years, it has developed a micro-drilling activity, specializing -among other things- in the sublimation of packaging in all its forms and on all materials.

How does attending Paris Packaging Week help develop your business?

Participating at Paris Packaging Week is an opportunity for us to promote this unique process know-how (halftone image, digital cutting, non-through hole coloring , etc.) and to present our latest innovations to our customers of today and tomorrow. This exhibition has become, with a few other international fairs, essential for our visibility.

What are you most excited about for the 2023 event in January?

The most exciting thing for us in this 2023 event is to be able to highlight our atypical decoration techniques on a world-famous and appreciated French monument : the Eiffel Tower !

This will be the surprise to be discovered on our stand C130.

What innovation trends do you think we can expect to see in the packaging industry in the next 12 months?

The innovations trends that we can expect to see in the packaging industry are, above all, the disappearance of plastic and the widespread use of eco-responsible, recycled and recyclable materials, such as monomaterials, which make us happy because completely adapted to our techniques. We can also hope to revive optimism through games of colors and optical effects, and this throughout the seasons.

The customer profile is ever-changing (e.g. people are more likely to buy products that are environmentally friendly). How do you think the customer profile will evolve through time? And how important is it to evaluate your current customer?

Our customers are more aware and attentive to changes in our environment, and are becoming more and more demanding on the techniques and the materials used.

They look for the most efficient solutions.

What do you see as the key challenges for your sector?
Our key challenges in 2023 are to continue to be a force for innovative solutions while respecting our planet and to perpetuate the life of our company despite the global environment.
What are you most looking forward to in 2023?

Our main objectives in 2023 are as always customer satisfaction and loyalty.
To you, what’s the ‘ideal’ pack of the future?

For us, the ideal pack for the future should be the most economical, ecological, convenient one and appropriate to its content (size, weight,,..), while keeping its attractiveness and its ability to make people dream.

A real challenge!

What’s been the impact of sustainability on NPD and packaging design

Sustainable packaging design seeks to reduce negative impacts on the environment and the health by developing new techniques and production methods. The main objectives are to conserve the assets, and to reduce waste and consumption of non-renewable resources.
