PCD Innovation Awards Spotlight | Armani code le parfum
Fragrances - Men Winner: Armani code le parfum
Please describe the brief for the pack. What were the objectives for the innovation project? What were the requirements and constraints?
Armani Code Le Parfum reflects the essence of an evolved, modern masculinity, with its new innovative, statement bottle, its new olfactory composition, and its commitment to sustainability.

How did the pack fulfil the brief? Please describe the technical innovations in the pack and the challenges they address
The bottle is refillable, and refilling Armani Code Le Parfum’s original 75ml spray bottle means a 38% reduction in glass and 67% reduction in metal.
The main challenge in addition to the eco-design and the products’ refillable nature, was to integrate a thick aluminum plate on the top of a rounded-square shape and ensure the long lasting decoration.

Why do you believe this pack deserves to win an Innovation Award?
Crafted as a statement bottle with a unique, rounded-square shape, the new Armani Code Le Parfum flacon reimagines the design of the original fragrance. This newly conceived bottle is refillable, demonstrating Giorgio Armani’s mindfulness of the planet. In its sleek, striking black form, elevated with sensorial touches and silver accents, the bottle stands as a beautiful object, designed to last.
