The etma reports growth in 2022 tube deliveries

The organisation saw that the most key end-user markets experienced different growth trends. While shipments to the volume-dominant pharmaceutical, dental care, and cosmetics markets increased by roughly 13%, 2%, and 1%, respectively, the food and home sectors decreased by 7% and 14%, respectively. etma President, Mark Aegler, said “the long-standing globalisation trend in procurement has given way to increasing regionalisation. etma members are seeing many customers focus on European sourcing because security of supply and a certain geographic proximity are playing an increasingly important role following supply chain issues in recent years. European tube suppliers will benefit from this trend.”
