Champagne Taittinger releases its Comtes de Champagne Grands crus rosé 2011

The latest Comtes de Champagne Grands crus rosé 2011 is finally ready to be sold.

This famous cuvée is composed of 40% of Grands Crus of Chardonnay from the most prestigious terroirs of the Côte des Blancs, and 60% of Pinot Noir, from the Grands Crus of the Montagne de Reims.

With aromas of red and black fruits, the pre-fermentation maceration is quite long. The bottle will have spent over 12 years in the heart of the Gallo-Roman chalk pits of Saint-Nicaise in Reims.

“The only reason for this house to exist is to make good wines,” claims Vitalie Taittinger, President of the house.
