Bernard Magrez offers a range of wines priced at less than €4

Bernard Magrez, building on its reputation with its four prestigious Bordeaux crus classés, has chosen a new positioning with a brand called “Contemplation”. Four wines, priced at €3.95, will be available in the coming weeks.

The brand new “Contemplation” includes four distinct wines: A red Côtes-du-Rhône, a red Bordeaux and two IGP Pays-D’oc rosés and reds. Against a backdrop of declining purchasing power, 87-year-old Bernard Magrez remains attentive to constant changes in the market.

He also emphasises: “We need to provide consumers with an accessible response across four appellations. We are obliged to focus on the price segment where rotation occurs, while maintaining a certain level of quality”.
