Caudalie chooses Lumson’s line of refillable jars

The French brand has decided to switch to refills for Premier Cru La Crème Riche Anti-Âge Global. To do so, it has teamed up with Lumson and chosen the De Luxe version of Re Place.

Lumson has developed a range of refillable jars to encourage brands and consumers to adopt more ethical habits, without changing the aesthetics of the packaging.

The various components (inner cup, jar and cap) can be customised to give the packaging a unique identity. Caudalie chose matt gold lacquering and hot stamping on the jar, an embossed logo on the cap and specific colouring for the inner cup.

The brand estimates that it will save nearly 3.12 tonnes of multi-material packaging and 18 tonnes of glass each year by switching to a refillable solution.
