Ardagh Glass launches the limited edition Absolut Mosaik vodka bottle

In partnership with the British artist Olly Alexander, Ardagh Glass has designed the 70cl and 1-litre glass bottles with a distinctive ribbed pattern. These bottles feature a bold mosaic design in a concave labeling area, highlighting the Absolut brand.

Ardagh created ribs and fins on the glass using 3D software, then utilised sculptural embossing to soften the bottle’s design across its entire surface.

“The front label, which is the primary printing area for the mosaic pattern, initially stood out from the bottle, posing a potential contact point on the production line. To address this challenge, the label area was carefully designed within a concave and curved surface, perfectly framed by the surrounding ribs,” stated Katharina Chemnitz, the product designer for Europe.
