Press release | Paris Packaging Week launches prestigious new awards to spotlight luxury packaging innovation beyond beauty and spirits
Paris, June 10, 2025 – Paris Packaging Week is proud to unveil the Premium & Luxury Awards, a brand-new awards programme that recognises groundbreaking packaging innovation in luxury categories beyond cosmetics, wines and spirits sectors. This new awards programme, as part of the Paris Packaging Week Innovation Awards, is designed to fill a clear gap in the market and reflect the rapid evolution of luxury packaging demands.
The new Premium & Luxury Awards will honour creative excellence in segments such as jewellery and watch packaging, fashion and accessories, fine food and gourmet items, limited-edition and collector’s gift boxes, sustainable luxury, and ultra-personalised packaging.
This exciting new initiative expands our family of awards — joining the renowned ADF, PCD, and PLD Innovation Awards — which have long celebrated packaging excellence across aerosols, beauty, premium and luxury drinks. With this addition, Paris Packaging Week further strengthens its position as the definitive platform for packaging innovation across every luxury category.
“This award is about redefining what luxury packaging looks like in today’s market,” says Christelle Anya, Content & Community Director at Paris Packaging Week. “We’re creating space for the incredible work happening in high-end food, fashion, jewellery and more – areas that have been underrepresented in traditional packaging awards.”
Judged by leaders in global luxury
To ensure the highest level of expertise and insight, we’ve recruited an exceptional jury of packaging leaders and creative visionaries from some of the world’s most prestigious luxury brands — including Bemad, Chloé, Diptyque, Kering Beauté, Louis Vuitton, and many more. This outstanding panel will evaluate entries based on creativity, innovation, sustainability, and the ability to elevate the luxury consumer experience.
“I’m truly excited to join the jury for Packaging Première at Paris Packaging Week,” says Jill Lecours Grimard, Former Chief Brand & Communication Officer at FAUCHON Paris. “Especially as it shines a spotlight on the power of experience and innovation in luxury packaging. This award is a recognition of the immense creative dedication that goes into crafting sensory, digital, and personalised packaging, often over months or years.”
A new award for a new era in luxury
This initiative responds directly to the shifting priorities of luxury brands and their consumers:
• Sustainability and digital innovation are now non-negotiable.
• Personalisation is key to delivering immersive, high-value experiences.
• The luxury packaging industry in Europe is projected to exceed $8 billion by 2025, with rapid growth in categories like fine jewellery, gourmet products, and high-end tech.
Celebrate innovation at the heart of Paris luxury
Entries for the Premium & Luxury Awards and the others Awards programmes of Paris Packaging Week will open in summer 2025, with a shortlist announced during a brand-new Gala Party — an exclusive evening hosted on the eve of Paris Packaging Week 2026, at the iconic Pavillon Vendôme in the heart of the luxury capital.
