Veuve Clicquot’s packaging collab with Architect of Joy Yinka Ilori

Champagne house Veuve Clicquot (LVMH) chose Milan Design Week 2026 to reveal a new collection created with artist and designer Yinka Ilori. The offer includes limited-edition coffrets, as well as ice buckets produced via 3D knitting.

Inspired by “the solar imprint of the iconic Clicquot Yellow”, Chasing the Sun is a new collection from Veuve Clicquot created in collaboration with Yinka Ilori. Known as the “Architect of Joy”, the British-Nigerian multidisciplinary artist and designer brings his bold use of color and playful design language to the line of design-led objects housing Veuve Clicquot’s Yellow Label and Rosé cuvées.

The collection includes Sun Holders and Sun Totems, whose design echoes the calabash (or bottle gourd) fruit. The Sun Holder is conceived as a contemporary take on the champagne bucket, while the Sun Totem is designed as a champagne cooler in a nod to the calabash as a traditional dinking vessel, and keeps bottles fresh for up to 90 minutes.
