TNT Group develops one-piece zamak cap for Stendhal’s “Essences Précieuses” collection
To celebrate Stendhal’s 80th anniversary, TNT Group has developed the signature cap for the brand’s “Essences Précieuses” collection. Manufactured from zamak as a single-piece component, the cap required design refinements to preserve the original creative vision while meeting production requirements.
Creating the sculpted cap as a one-piece element presented a significant technical challenge. By reworking the initial design, TNT Group succeeded in producing a seamless structure that enhances the light-catching effect of the gold-toned petals. The continuous reflections evoke the six fragrances that make up the collection, each inspired by a distinctive signature ingredient.
The cap is produced from zamak, an alloy composed of zinc, aluminium, magnesium and copper. High-pressure die casting enables the creation of intricate shapes while ensuring excellent mechanical performance and strong resistance to physical and chemical stress. The Stendhal logo is engraved into the base of the cap and subtly framed by a discreet groove, adding a refined finishing touch to the overall design.
