Givenchy goes glossy for its new men’s fragrance

Givenchy’s Gentleman Society is the latest men’s fragrance to join the LVMH-owned brand’s offer. For the packaging, the brand opted for a bespoke flacon that is lacquered internally and is topped with a glossy aluminium cap, reports Luxe Packaging Insight.

New men’s eau de parfum Gentleman Society from Givenchy (LVMH) launched this February. The bespoke bottle from Bormioli Luigi is made of 15% recycled glass, with the internal walls lacquered black using the supplier’s patented Inside decoration technique. Ensuring perfect distribution of the glass and creating a recess for the 4G logo plate on the facing proved challenging, highlights the glassmaker.

“This PP plate represents a breakthrough in terms of innovation thanks to its galvanization, a step which until now was not possible on PP.” the supplier tells Luxe Packaging Insight.
